Beauty Amidst the Smoke

This past week found me among thousands of others in the west, evacuating our houses and going to friends and shelters due to fire being in close proximity to where we live. My housemate and I were welcomed to friends in SW Portland, where there was no fire near-bye, yet plenty of smoke.
When we arrived, I was given the loud message to go to Multnomah Falls in the Columbia Gorge. As you may remember, an arson fire burned thousands of acres of this beautiful area (Eagle Creek Fire) in 2017, as a result the Nature Spirits and recovering ecosystems are emanating strongly the energy of Restoration & Resurrection.
"We survived and so will you" was one of the messages from the Nature Spirits the year after the fire. During the visit this year the call of restoration was stronger. It was also accompanied by the request for myself and other Light weavers (including Janet Doerr who accompanied me) to put our greater SoulSpirit gifts into action in reverence for all of Life.
The devastation of wild fires on nature cannot be understated. Yet from the flames and ashes new life is born - the phoenix rises and Eden will rebirth.
